David Wallover - Senior Pastor

The first thing to know about me is that I am a sinner, which is another way of saying, I do a good job of messing up, in thought, word and deed. The second and much more important thing to know about me is that I am loved and being renovated by the God of Creation and Salvation more deeply and more consistently than I have any right to expect or any ability to fathom, through the sacrifice of HIs Son, Jesus Christ, and the work of His Spirit.
Beyond that basic information, I am married to Lisa, a crazy-cute redhead from Brooklyn, NY. We are enjoying our adventure of marriage - and are ourselves still being sanctified in it, as well. We have three grown children and one beautiful granddaughter. This family is my sustenance on earth, my joy, my crown. I love them deeply.
Other less interesting stuff, but here it is: Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, I graduated from Wake Forest University in 1980 with a BA in English Literature. I also graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1983 with my M.Div.; and then later from Reformed Theological Seminary in 1998 with my D.Min. My favorite passages of Scripture are Proverbs 2:1-11 and Ephesians 2:8-10. And I love jazz, classical, and acoustic music. Beyond that, you'll just have to come visit Harvest to find out more. Hope you do! I'd love to get to know you, too.
